compare critical length dimensions using your blade-type caliper.
It permits precise measurement from bullet's ogive (o-jive),
to avoid variations in bullet tips, which can and do vary

Headspace Gauge -
Measure
Headspace dimensions with your caliper! This affordable gauge
system is easy to use, and eliminates the need for special
"mics" for each cartridge that you load. It
allows you to measure variations in the headspace dimensions
of cases before and after firing. Gauge works with or
without the bullets seated. This Gauge will measure
from the case-head to the datum line on the case shoulder.
It allows you to re-size your brass for a precise fit with
your chamber. The Gauge identifies excessive headspace
situations which are potentially dangerous. Five bushing
sizes allow use with most bottleneck type cases: from 17 Remington
through the belted magnums - even wildcats. All bushings
are interchangeable with the B-2000 Body (required) which
attaches to your caliper with a thumb screw (same Body as
used with Stony Point Comparator).

over-all cartridge length (O.A.L.), and (2) produce rounds
with a precise bullet seating depth, providing a known bullet
free-travel to the rifling. The O.A.L. Gauge will (3)
monitor throat erosion, and (4) check (new or used) guns for freebore condition, a prime factor in firearm accuracy.
The O.A.L. Gauge uses your bullets for utmost precision.
C-1000 O.A.L Gauge (Straight) Recommended for all bolt action
or single-shot firearms; all firearms with straight-line access

Over
50 Modified cases are available (I only carry , .308
& .223 pictured) to fit all popular firearm chambers.
All are interchangeable with either O.A.L. Gauge model, and
are kept within SAAMI size specifications. These cases
are threaded at the case-head to attach to the O.A.L. Gauge.
Case-neck diameter are slightly oversized, allowing bullets
to slip freely within the neck. This method permits
the use of your bullets to attain precise dimensions.
