Scope Stand
I have been looking for a scope stand that would equal the "Ewing" stand in quality, but at a lower price. Well, I now have one. It was designed and built by an aeronautical engineer. It compacts to about the size of the scope itself. It "Telescopes" up for the Sitting and Off-Hand positions. I took a Ewing stand and mine and placed a Kowa TSN-821 on each. I raised them to the full Off-Hand position (in a 15 mph wind) and both had a slight wobble, but neither were in danger of tipping over. My stand has about 50% larger base area than the Ewing stand. The Ewing stand was selling for $185.00 at OK Webbers at Camp Perry.
